The Bow Latch System replaces your existing bow eye bolt. The Bow Latch will automatically latch your boat to the rope system on your trailer. When unloading, simply pull the manual release to unlatch your boat from the rope system. You will never need to get in or out of your boat to latch or unlatch. The light-duty model is recommended for boats having an existing eye-bolt outside diameter (O.D.) of 1-3/4" and will directly replace your existing u-bolt with no additional modifications.
